Weekly Update + - 5/11/21

hello and happy Tuesday!

I had my second covid vaccine last week and it hit me much harder than the first one did, but thankfully for a much shorter amount of time, so I still managed to get some writing done! We've finally made it back to Nivio and the introduction/reintroduction of the Cowles family, which I've been very excited about. It's a nice bit of levity after all the stress of the first part of the chapter.

The plan for next week is to keep writing! I'm glad that the trouble I had in April seems to be behind me and I can finally put some words on paper again, so that's what I'm going to do! There's some scenes coming up soon that I'm really really looking forward to, and I hope to be able to get to them in time for this month's update, so that's my goal right now!

for update plus this week, here's the first part of a character introduction I know a lot of people have been looking forward to:

“I know you. You’re $nickname.” You look up in surprise at the unfamiliar voice, and turn to see a little girl sitting on the arm of the couch next to you, eyes squinted in close inspection. “$anickname told me about you.”

($anickname is "Lemur" for Liam and "Li-Li" for Lily 😁)
