Understandingly. They wouldn’t hesitate to let Speaker in and listen and comfort them. They might be a little surprised to see them so suddenly, but they’d be happy about it! And they’d hope it was a sign of things to come, that Speaker would be part of their life again.

Jeremiah Gigremosa asked: What was the first meeting between L and Speaker as kids like?

They were babies when they first met. How small of babies would depend on when your Speaker’s birthday is, but there’s a six-month-or-less difference in their ages, so either one of them was a newborn and the other was about six months old, or they were both newborns, or anywhere in between those 2. But they probably met immediately after the younger one got home from the hospital.

Louie asked: What would the ROs do If the MC grabbed them by the belt/tie/waist to kiss them? Just...curious hehe

I think all of them would enjoy that. Especially Rory and Liam/Lily! But I don’t think they’d react much differently than they would to any other kiss.

1. What would happen to Speaker if Seer died? Would they just be a regular human? Or would the visions haunt them instead?

2. How often did twins happen in Seer's family? Would Speaker's kids have a chance to be born as twins as well? Or was it the first time the family had twins?

1. if Seer died, Speaker would just be a regular human. They might get occasional side-effects, like the things that happen to them after Seer has a vision, but without the vision to accompany it. their power doesn’t have a purpose without their twin.

2. Gran was a twin! though she wasn’t part of the Seer-cursed side of the family, she married into it, but she’s most likely where the possibility to have twins was inherited from. Being a twin/descended from twins does come with an increased chance of having twins yourself, so it’s certainly possible to Speaker and/or Seer to have twins!

Jess asked: I really hope no one has asked this but which ROs are ticklish? And how would they react to Speaker trying to find their ticklish spots? 😂

there's ways theyd all do it as friends, of course, and you can feel free to mention those if you want to? but ive always found the ways past partners have tried to go the extra mile make me teary-eyed. and so im mainly just curious on what direction the ROs' "mile" specifically would be (i dont want to give you examples for this bc that can oftentimes accidentally turn into parameters, but i will say people often take that "extra mile" to be SFW Answers Only and they dont HAVE to be lmao; and considering The Speaker Game's having some violent scenes, the "extra mile"s dont have to be domestic things either. feel free to go in any direction with any chronic pain area/s for any RO here lmao def dont feel limited to only mine)

I have sciatica, cts, tmj, and chronic migraines, so I definitely understand and empathize! A few of my characters also struggle with chronic pain (Gavin Cowles gets migraines, Azalea suffers from a dryad-specific pain disorder, and there are some others that will be mentioned in-game but I’m gonna keep hush about for right now)

As for what the ROs would do to help with their partners pain or other chronic illnesses, a lot of that would depend on things like what type of pain it is and what kind of person Speaker is/what kind of comfort they’d want. So I’ll be fairly general about this and say what type of ways they’d want to help rather than specific actions they’d take:

Liam/Lily has a lot of experience with chronic pain, partially because of their brother but also because they’re a healer. It’s hard for them to watch you suffer and not be able to fix it, but they know that’s not how it works. Instead, they try to soothe, especially through touch. Massages, cold/heat/electric magic if that’ll help, sex if that’s how you prefer to get the endorphins going to ease the pain. Whatever helps, it’s yours before you even ask.

Sebastian doesn’t have a lot of experience with chronic pain specifically, but he is used to taking care of people who sometimes struggle to take care of themselves. He takes care of all the things he knows you’ll struggle with so you don’t have to worry about them. Mysteriously, dinner is cooked and your laundry and shopping are done and anything you need is already there if you so much as think about needing it.

Azalea has a similar approach to Sebastian. She learns to tell what will help you best at any given moment and does it for you. She also knows acupressure techniques to ease pain and will happily do so if it will help.

Kana buys you things. A cup of coffee on days when the caffeine will help, meals that take little-to-no prep and reheat well so that they’re there when you feel better enough to eat, any medications or aids that might soothe the pain even for a little while. They aren’t very good at being physically helpful, so they help in the way they know best.

Rory would be the least likely to try to help in any ways that you haven’t specifically asked for. Pre-Change, they had some chronic issues of their own, and have had their share of people being overbearing with the intention of being helpful. They’d never want to make you feel like that, so they try to stay hands-off unless told to do otherwise.
