Added 2017-08-01 20:40:08 +0000 UTCI wonder which colouring method you prefer.Though different styles of characters require different shading techniques. I won't ever use soft shading on Boku no hero characters for example.

I completely agree. I used to draw a bit myself, but I'm waaaaay too perfectionistic, so takes me forever to finish a piece (not to mention I'm terrible with hands and feet, lol). I also find myself drawn to the more simplistic art styles and can tell an interesting "story".
2017-08-04 06:47:08 +0000 UTCYeah, of course! I kind of like the oily thing, it can make some pictures a bit more erotic...but usually it's just too much. Still I wanted to get some feedback. I will make another picture with different versions, -with and without backlighting, reflection etc. to see what "configuration" gives the best result. Maybe the simplest anime- like cell shading is the best.
