Play as or Create character?

Before I start change to charge monthly, I want to make something clear. Base on previous polls, majority vote to release monthly build, there is one condition at least, the build will be only for patron and not for public... yet. This because at this early stage if I release to public, people will be judgemental about lack of content, so I think it's for the best I at least have more content for the game before make it available for public test.

You as patron, will get the test build to help me break the ga- err I mean... help me find bugs and glitched in future such as you can walk over on tileset or NPC or event not work and etc. the different between test build and public build, the test build I will put some content/ feature that still WIP in specific for you to try and report back to me if something doesn't work. Who knows, sometime these bug can be slipped away and end up into public build. Let say test build I want something for you guys to test in private.

Now enough about that. When I was prototype the game few months ago before I got RL job, I was figuring some different mechanic and gameplay to make the game not... like those typical common RPG maker game... until I stuck at this one specific decision where I can't decide.

Do you guys want your character to be Play as or Create? by Play as, there will be 2 option, 1st I will give specific character, 2nd you can choose which character you want to play as and these character is just a shell. 2nd choice is like how you look only. Create Character also have several options, 1st can be normal character customization with minor details. 2nd would be preset customization, similar to the 1st but most part are preset example like which face you want to choose etc. 

You may think this is just a character and no big deal. Actually, this does affect the gameplay  feature and the character growth later in the game. Choose wisely :3
