"Knut" is pronounced something like "knoot" (with no vowel sound between "k" and "n") in English. The English spelling is "Canute" (stress on the second syllable). The Swedish tradition mentioned in the Wikipedia article died out in the 60s or maybe 70s. Definitely gone in the 80s.

As for other swedes I think most people here do not even know who he is, had to google him myself ๐ Never heard of anyone celebrating this day but I am guessing some people use it as a marker when to remove christmas decorations. If you want I can record the pronunciation and put it on discord. Also yes please upload the bloopers ๐๐ฅฐ๐
