This is an unabashedly odd point and click game by the creator of Earthworm Jim, with a unique graphical style that comes from the game's environment and characters being rendered almost entirely in claymation.
Much like Myst, the game concentrates on environmental puzzles instead of inventory ones, and generously dumps the player in without the first clue of what they're doing. Here's my attempt to overcome it.

In 1996 swapped my Doom 2 CD with a school mate for this. So for me it was one of those games for games that had a big impact. The music by Terry Scott Taylor is mental. Like that chronicles hallway! Well done on going all the way to the end. I gave up until I had no other options in the whole game :) Thanks for a great video
