Engaging with Patreon moving forward
Added 2025-10-15 01:48:48 +0000 UTCHello my few but precious patrons <3 I want you all to know I am immensely grateful for any and all support you've shown me in my time posting as an nsfw artist. As I'm sure you've all been aware, my posts on patreon haven't been the most consistent. This has been a spot of bother in my mind as I've struggled with how I should engage with patreon and what content to make for it.
Initially, I planned for patreon to house the exclusive animations I personally draw and animate from scratch, as well as associated WIP's. However, I've since shifted my posting strategy to animating other artists' pre-existing artwork, both as a marketing strategy and a time-saving measure, allowing me to post more animations more frequently. That comes with the unfortunate sticking point of making working on my own custom animations harder to do, especially as I've begun taking on commissions to help support myself.
So, moving forward, my activity on patreon will be thus: Patrons will be given WIP's as before, but I will also be posting WIP's of commissions as I work on them. I initially shied away from including other artist's work in my patreon tiers as it felt scummy to profit off of products based on other people's art, but the only content exclusive to patreon will be my WIP's of any art or commissions I am working on, they will release in full publicly and on patreon at the same time. I will still try and work on patreon exclusives as much as I can, but they will take somewhat of a backseat moving forward (I'll still finish the Luna Snow animation, I can promise that!) as I currently shift my focus on commission work and animating other people's art. I do plan on bringing back a heavier focus on exclusives in the future, though!
