I’m pleased to make your virtual acquaintance. My name is Milisont, pronounced the way it’s spelt and derives from Melisende, The Queen of Jerusalem and later the French heroine Melisande.  I am one of Sirena’s new columnist.

A little her-story about me…

I’m New Caledonian, a French island girl with Torres Strait & Celtic, Pictish blood. Between the ages of 18 and 21, I was an au pair and an exotic dancer while I got qualified to run my own small business. The only book I had a slight idea about was Lolita and funnily enough they all had something in common. SEX. These books revealed the dark and filthy side of the human condition and what drives us that by then, I’d already had a taste of. 

Having come from a home full of bruises and broken hearts then growing up as a corrupted teen full of adventure into a young woman alone in the world, I understood why pain and fear are so intertwined with pleasure and love. From here on out we’ll explore everything in between the sheets together. 

A lover once asked me, if I were to write a book what would I call it. A poem I wrote, I titled…

“Find The Innocence Inside Your Filth”
