Aren't these bugs adorable? I was trying to be a bit more stylish with my pixel art this month, so they kinda feel different, but also more similar to earlier monsters. I also (partly) read a book on color theory this holiday. I am happy with how they turned out; cute, moderately busty, and with more monster-ish faces. I feel like the purple upper wings on the moth need to be redone to be a similar pallet as the lower wings... Here's hoping that a comparatively simple bug design can compete with the moth, Chitia gives double hugs, so I think the charm is about even. Also this is the final concept for the moth monster, I have been fiddling with a butterfly design since EGGOMON's conception, there will still likely be a butterfly.
