Too rushed, the story around Jon Snow being Aegon Targeryan could've been presented a LOT better and the romance between Jon & Dany was too sudden, slaying Rhaegal was also not optimal i think just so Drogon - a SINGLE dragon then go out and burning the entire fleet..You either present the dragons as super strong and fearsome or you just dont kill them one by one and then the last of them flying off to god knows where because the dragon queen was killed for what reason exactly... so Bran becomes King... Probably the best 6-7 season of a show just so it can be(not so ruined but) ruined by the last season.

And considering the show having "GoT season 8 writing" is just silly, the writers for the show just faithfully adapt the source material (written by George R. R. Martin), don't come up with any original stuff that's not in the book, and ask for the approval of GRRM before wrapping production on each season. Specifically because they don't want a GoT 2.0 happening. So I would say you are in the minority of people that think like that...

2024-09-02 23:07:46 +0000 UTCI'm very interested in why anyone would feel House of Dragon is a good show. IMO the writing is like season 8 of GoT but only that. Every scene feels boring or bland compared to GoT. The actors are mostly mid with freaking doctor who that really doesn't fit in his role. Worst part is almost all battles and happenings are told only not showed. It felt like 20 hours of dialogue options with some "omega cool dragon cgi" sprinkled here and there. I could go on and on about what I would consider flaws. At least from my perspective after having watched both seasons. Which also is why I'm looking forward to seeing what Hei thinks about it.

It truly is hilarious because, for the first two, all the clips in the video are from before the first episode of the season was released/while the season was in production, and even then they knew and didn't hide any of their disappointment...

If not Daenerys it should be Jon. What are the unsullied going to do, Jon has the north, wildings and probably most of the kingdom behind him if they heard what had happen at kings landing. His name is well respected already, Bran would make way more sense as the masters of whisperers

Its shot down and Daenarys thinks they are both dead, boom fixed mad queen ending Also the night king not being killed by the flaming sword of the hero azor ahai is a disgrace, after he kills Dany, he pulls out the flaming sword and him riding drogon, the westerosi army and whatever else, goes and Tries to figure out how to kill the night king involving all those white walker patterns we kept seeing. Also the dialogue in this last season literally butchered tyrions character But hey, at least we had 4-6 seasons of pure greatness depending on the persons opinion
