Patreon Clean Up and Potential Changes
Added 2019-09-10 23:51:16 +0000 UTCHello, I have cleaned up a lot of old posts. I've deleted old art suggestion and poll posts, and tagged all posts so you can search them. There is also a section for featured tags! I hope this will make everything a lot easier. I was going to do this last month, but a lot of real life stuff got in the way.
Additionally, I have been considering changes to patreon tiers to better match my financial situation.
$1 Apprentice
I am thinking of raising this to a $2 or $3 tier. To compensate for this, I would also move the livestream benefit from the $5 tier to this new low tier. At $1, at lot of that gets lost to flat processing fees. At $2, a lot more of that money is going to me and funding ETD's development.
$5 Veteran
This is still a very good tier, I have no plans to change it aside from moving the livestream benefit as previously described.
$10 Hero
I'm thinking of just automatically including NSFW edits of the weekly art at this tier. So instead of a poll and only posting once a month, it becomes weekly. This is contingent on how profitable the patreon is overall, so this might be a part of the $700 goal.
$25 Legend
I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to increase the price of this tier. To get these designs done currently, I have to produce some very low quality sketches that I am not happy with at all. I will probably have to increase this tier to $50 in order to make the quality I need.

The way Patreon handles cheap tiers is notoriously shitty so I understand completely why you would want to do this. I say give it a try.

I'm mostly here to give a small contribution because I thought it was a cool concept :) and also because it's a convenient way for me to check when the new version are released. But if you would take away the 1$ tier I would also disappear i like supporting different patron projects with 1$ a month, but that's usually where I stop.
