The flower class were based on trawler hulls as they were designed for heavy weather I believe. Regards

Forgive me, but I often nod off to sleep during a Drydock, waking up to find that it is finished. Later I go back and check which questions I recall the answers to, and start over. A Patreon Drydock is a multi-day experience...and donโt I just love โem!

One of the major contributions of Bletchley Park that is over shadowed by Enigma code breaking was the the creation of radio traffic analysis pioneered by one the great mathematicians employed there who subsequently went to Canada and worked for the CIA on traffic analysis and to this day some of his work was highly classified along with game theory analysis developed from traffic analysis. In fact the guy himself when he did write a book was in a great deal of trouble from the CIA and threatened with dire consequences should he publish. Regards JohnH

Thank you. Brilliant podcasts. My GF fails to understand my interest. But she is a health care professional and has her own set of interests (afflictions actually).

Drach tends to do alt history questions in the live stream, as they require no prepping / research. Else we would end up with over 10hr. Patreon Drydocks, and imho I consider those alternative questions 'optional' watching, so I welcome the split.

Standard drydocks are about an hour, the end of the month recording and livestream are all the rest of the Patron questions :)

Just curious, not complaining but wondering why some Dry Docks are @ 1 hour. Then we have this treat of 6+ hours. Is it strictly the volume of questions? What constitutes the source of Rum Ration episodes? Will we ever see an episode on Destroyers at Normandy?

This was my question
David B
Q/A: Washington Treaty,
The great powers actually take note of the Hood and through tough negotiation each nation is allowed to continue construction on 1x ship per signatory up to 45000t.Nno new ship gets laid down with the exception of Britain authorized 3x35000t ships instead of 2x35000t as partial compensation. All other tonnage remain the same. What ships are retained for each power? ex (South Dakota v Lexington Class) (Tosa V Amagi Class) and what updates or alterations are done on the hulls to go all the way up to the 45000t limit? How does this impact interwar ship building and WW2 battles?

What was your question? Sometimes they are not listed in the question index because the answers are to short, or short because subject of a planned special, or just forgotten all together.

Great episode but...I didn't see my question answered...

Before too long he will be able to stop numbering them...it will just be one continuous 24/7/365 Drydock.....(how does he do it?)

A bit of both, I guess :D
