If all invention stopped up in one kingdom, say at a penicula. There were allways other kingdoms and realms on the other side of the mountain that would continue.

2021-02-28 08:40:36 +0000 UTCMy understanding is that in categorizing U.S. Navy aircraft carriers in WWII, the C stood for Carrier and the V stood for Heavier Than Air. This last referring, of course, to the aircraft and identifying them as airplanes as opposed to Lighter Than Air craft like blimps and dirigibles.

2021-02-27 09:43:21 +0000 UTCFrom what I've heard. The reason the torpedoes launched at Sheffield during the Bismark chase detonated short of the target was the sea state. They were bobbing so much that they exceeded 45 degrees which reversed the axis of the magnetic detonator, which then thought they were under a ship (such a change in magnetic field axis strength being what they were looking for).
