thanks for the info on the hospital ships, most of what I had seen was transports more than floating hospitals from way back. so I had doubts if there was ever a made from scratch intentional hospital ship. B)

5 hours is really far too long for me. 2 hours would be better. I'm just out of ICU in hospital (not covid-19, none here in Canberra for a week, so far...) & it's still way beyond me.

Opens video, sees 5 hours 40 minute running time, rubs hands with considerable enthusiasm.

I know we get 1 question a month for Drydock- but if it's causing 5+hr episodes please change it to every other month or something. I live it dread that this will become to burdensome to continue..

Sadist? No sir, the Drydock is more like the dauntless Fletcher class, on time, on target, and a new one is ready every week.

Almost certainly accurate, as Johnston free waters were suddenly quite available.

Drydock of the length of a medium to large naval engagement.

Any longer before stopping and Taffy 3 would've been goners.

Drach, are you a masochist?

Woo hoo ... longest one yet! Stonking effort, good sir!
