I would also agree that monetization is a good thing... really enjoy the Drydock episodes, the extra details, insights, and tangents are great. I do appreciate a good tangent!

Also, great episode as always. Re: that hole in Shinano's turret faceplate, do not think for a minute that the Bureau of Ordnance did not know exactly how close Iowa had to be to penetrate Shinano's armor ahead of time and it was more of a publicity shot. If only they had placed such effort in rigging their torpedo detonators . . . .

Please take the jovial sarcasm as it is affectionately intended. But, what the heck is wrong with you??? Why on earth would you not choose to profit from your toil in providing us with this excellent product? I don't work for free; I certainly do not expect you to. People sit through adds to watch cat videos--an add or two is not going to hurt anything. English capitalism really is not what it used to be . . . . .

I'm happy that you have been monetized and I'm more than happy to watch an ad or two so you can get a little extra scratch.

agreed, makes me feel less bad about Patreon not sending him his coffee/tea funds this month. I'm considering stepping my donation up next month to make up for it then step it back down, however, I don't want Drach thinking that the higher tear will be a permanent thing. I may also just ask if there is another way to send him the funds for my first month here, even tho I know 5usd isn't much in the larger picture and may border on the edge of simply being annoying for a one-time transaction. Apparently, if you sign up close to the 15th of the month, Patreon will just say "next month we will start" instead of this month.
