The issue is that they've taken my work and created something that is slowly stealing my identity like it means nothing. They're taking all of the physical marks I make with thought and creativity and running it through a machine algorithm. They're replicating things that would take me days and weeks to produce in minutes off of my sacrifices. It's the worst feeling. I can't really put it into words. The output is faster and cleaner. It's more palatable to the average person. In a year the AI created from my work could out produce what I've done in a decade with ease. If handled by someone competent it would gain more attention than I ever will. All from theft of an actual artist. It's not worth continuing but I don't have anything else to fall back on.

2022-11-11 01:55:03 +0000 UTCI don't really know about this war on artists you mention, and while it's true that we can't compete with AI and such there's still some of us that enjoy not only your art (or other artists' work) but the interaction with the artist and human feeling you can infuse your work with. I know this is kind of cliché but I'm pretty sure others feel the same way. Great job with this page she looks stunning.

And the people doing it are just insufferable ignorant assholes who don't care. People feel entitled to my art like nothing went into it. Like it's nothing of value except their own exploitation. Like it's for them to use and abuse however they want. It's so demotivating. I want to quit but I can't. I'm going to end up doing this until I can't compete with AI trained on my work and then I'll have to find some other art to make. There's nothing I can do to stop it. I can only look forward to a different profession in the near future.
