Added 2021-10-31 19:57:57 +0000 UTCI felt motivated after my last post and thought, "Hey, I haven't drawn Jenny in a bit". So here's the result of that. I'm very pleased with it. I enjoyed getting back to a more expressive 'toon' style of rendering and her proportions are *chefs kiss*.
This might be my go-to for comic pages. My biggest turn off for making comics is the repetitive nature of the rendering process. sketch- ink- color- lettering all of the same subject several times on the same page. This process though felt different. I sketched, but went to coloring next and then finished with almost calligraphy like outlines. I also spent a lot of time on her face trying to really refine it into THE Jenny. I've drawn different features different ways but I really wanted to decide on THE way to do it for her. Anyway, enough rambling.
