DAZ Subway Animation - Final Version

Here's the final version of the DAZ Subway Tunnel Animation. This one was rendered on a node with 4x RTX 3080 cards in only 18 hours with 1000 samples per frame, courtesy of some promotional credits I received from GPU Hub for trying their service. I was very impressed with their setup and will make a dedicated video about it soon. There was an interesting effect in the Iray version that I hadn't seen in the Filament preview animatics: when the camera enters and exits the train, the perspective seemingly shifts due to the glass in the window. I guess it bends the time/space continuum or something, so I've added two subtle reflection effects in Premiere Pro. This works well and integrates nicely into the flow.

In total it took me about two weeks of solid work to build this, not including render time. Animation projects like this take so long because there's always something else to tweak, and the more moving objects you have in your scene, the more knobs we have to fiddle with. I'm excited to finally share this final version with you, which will premiere next Saturday at 4pm EST on the official DAZ channel as part of the holding loop.

It's my pleasure to show it to you before anyone else can marvel at it 😁

Thanks Brian 😃

Very cool. There is just no substitute for a proper Iray render. It turned out great.
