He is a member of The Starguard, an independent intergalactic police force dedicated to bringing peace and bettering the lives of everyone across the galaxy. Though their main goal is to up hold the law, it is never at the expense of actually doing what's right.
Lindsey himself has been an officer for sometime and has gone from desk to being "out on the beat" multiple times in his career, he now at the point where he is considering his future with the Starguard and how that plays into the future of the very galaxy.
He has made a name for himself as a skilled, straight laced officer but is far more laid back than he would let on. Despite being very tired of the ins and outs of it, he loves his job and being able to help people genuinely helps him feel fulfilled. But years of seeing the same crimes and people succumb to the same vices has worn him down a bit which has him questioning the point in what he does.
