Cid Shallowgrave is a tabaxi undertaker who has over seen his families graveyard in Vale Forest for most of his life, studying the arts of Necromancy to commune with the dead he watches over. Because of this, Cid is more comfortable talking with the dead than the living and he can come off as a bit careless as he doesnt pay much mind to peoples words. But he has a very relaxed and calm demeanor, despite his odd personality traits.

He is bonded with the spirit of Adelianna, The Butcher of Vale forest. Once a brutish elven serial murder who preyed on those who would get lost in the forest or wayward adventurers, tearing them apart with her bare hands or slaughtering them with her crude blade. So it was until an angry mob backed by some well paid adventurers finally slew her and burried her in an unmarked grave, hoping she would be forgotten. That was until Cid, while wandering the forest looking for corpses to burry, stumbles upon her remains. Upon giving her a proper burial her spirit has now bonded to him, her thirst for slaughter now directed at his enemies uw u
