Monthly Poll: November 2024

1. I will be taking a month-long hiatus in December in which there will be zero updates. No monthly polls, no commissions.
2. As with last year, there will be a month-long survey in November. You do not have to fill it out, but I would like you to because I'd like some input on both my writing and how I've run my Patreon/commissions thusfar. Look out for that.
Chiefly, I'm considering kicking everyone out of my commission tier and then opening a Kofi because having people occupy those seven subscription-based seats permanently means no one else ever gets to commission me. For reference, literally no one has ever left my commission tier in the two years I've kept it open.
I'm hoping that if I use Kofi, I can keep a "per chapter" basis to my commissions. Basically, "I owe you one chapter of your chosen fic within 30 days of payment."
That's all I had to say. You all know how the poll works by now.

When I was a holder I rotated all of them besides Pokémon as I was never that into it and bunny as I just know a little about campeon so I appreciate being able to just continue on commitioning on kofi if you decide to do that

2024-10-07 03:09:39 +0000 UTCAt this point the only fic i havent read is Homeless Bunny, because i have never watched either Rwby or Campione, so i while i have my preferences i truly feel like i win regardless of wich story wins overall. edit: I have now caught up to Homeless Rabbit as well, so i am officialy caught up with everything Webs currently has.

2024-10-06 23:37:01 +0000 UTCI get what you mean. Before it became a regular fic, ACL was a Quest in which that day by day format made a lot of sense. It's also easy to forget because of how much plot focus there has been recently, but the majority of ACL has been a Slice of Life story in which the main focus were the characters. Pacing mattered a whole lot less. Now that it's a regular fic, things will need to pick up eventually. Otherwise we'll probably never see the end of the story. I do think however that at least for now, it just kind of makes sense to do ACL day by day. Because of how the power works, like you mentioned. But also because a ton of shit has happened, and is going to continue happening. My big guess is that after the Ziz fight, things will rapidly start to wind down. Pov changes will probably happen, which allows for time skips. The big Legendary quest system that will happen is also going to play a role. If Blake runs of to NewFoundland for a week to raise it from the water, there is really no need to follow his actions day by day. We can just skip (or change pov). I think there have also been hints that Blake will eventually outgrow the 'type per day' thing, as he gets more mastery over his aura

2024-10-06 22:38:17 +0000 UTCI really like ACL, it was the main reason i got into the patreon, but it has a glaring issue of the story moving at a glacial pace because of the way Blake's powers work. PWP has the same issue but to a much Lesser degree since Bruce only chances powers once a month.
