Love it! The Ark was in the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. The Ark had the 10 commandments and other artifacts inside. The 1st temple was destroyed and looted by the Babylonians, and they made a list of everything they took but, the Ark was not on the list and was never seen again. Jesus visited the 2nd temple that was built over the remains of the 1st. 2 theories emerged. 1) The Ark was taken away during the battle through underground tunnels to either Scotland or North America. 2) The Ark was hidden so well that the Babylonians never found it and it is there under the Temple mount in Jerusalem. The bible says that there will be a 3rd temple build and the Ark will be placed back in the temple and the Anti-Christ will sit on it and declare he is God. The 2 biggest finds in Archology would be the Ark or the Holy Grail.
