Thank You, And Goodbye!

The time was coming, and it is now here...
It's time for me to move on to new ventures, but I'll be around!


Hey everyone! 

Quite the announcement isn't it? Maybe some of you already sensed it coming, maybe some of you didn't. I've spoken about my doubts on what to do with my art and Patreon on discord before, and with big changes in my life come big changes to my work.

A lot has happened and changed over the last 2 months or so. There's been some emotionally hard moments with family passing away and my mom getting sick, as well as inspiring ones like going to EuroFurence and starting my first job in the games industry. It's too much to list, but my life has seen a lot of change in a short amount of time.

Along with that, art-me changed too. Meeting other artists in the fandom at EuroFurence and soon having a stable income have made me question what I want to achieve with my work. I've taken great interest in things like starting a merchandise store, indie game development and more. While I'm planning to continue creating furry art, I've decided that doing crowd-funding and commissions are doing me more harm than good in achieving the new goals I now have.

Patreon doesn't make enough to justify it as a side hustle and I don't enjoy it enough anymore to justify it as a hobby, so I've decided to close this chapter. I'll instead shift my attention to my new job and truly taking the time to find myself as an artist. While I'm not certain of what that will look like just yet, going to conventions and your loving support have made this fandom feel like a family to me. I'll definitely stay around and create furry stuff, just without a planned schedule!

What does this mean for September and October?

I'm a little behind with the Theme Nights again since I've been on vacation the last 2 weeks, started my job very recently and had to be with family. I'll still do September's and this month's Theme Night sketches, as well as posting a few other drawings I haven't gotten the chance to post yet. 

This month will be the last billing cycle, from 1 October onwards no more charges will happen. The Patreon page will effectively be taken offline on 1 October 2022, so make sure to download anything you still want to download before then!

What about your discord server?

I'm planning on keeping it, but I'll be changing it into a more regular server. This means getting rid of the Patreon-only channels, theming and other stuff that's not needed anymore. 

If in the future I decide to pursue the idea for a merchandise store or something else, I'll transform the existing server into the new server for that. No promises though!

You've helped me through some financially and motivationally rough times, don't underestimate the impact your love and support has had on me. I'll be taking a while to develop my art some more, but I'll stay present online on my socials. If there's any questions you have, please don't hesitate to ask!
