END OF THE YEAR 2024 ROADMAP UPDATE!

Hey everyone,

We’re heading into the last month of 2024, and the team is hustling to wrap things up before taking a well-deserved holiday break.

Most of us are taking at least two weeks off, but Droid and Chase will still be around to help with QA, answer questions, and generally keep the lights on. Peggy’s also holding down the fort on Reddit, Twitter, and here on Patreon, so we don’t vanish entirely.

Here’s what’s cooking for Paradise Lust 2 and Sinners Landing before the end of the year and a little taste of what’s coming in January.

Paradise Lust 2:

December:
We’re wrapping up Garden of Earthly Delights, so expect more fun with Jenn and Andrea soon!


Also, Frankie is making another appearance and maybe... adding trouble?

Beta builds are almost ready and will roll out soon!

January:

January’s update is shaping up to be all about Mina and Luana, so stay tuned for that. Comics are pretty much done, it’s just the minigames keeping us busy now.

Sinners Landing:

December:
It’s Tyra’s time to shine again with upcoming Vision Quest update!

Plus, the Drinking Activity art are finally finished, so grab a glass (or two) and enjoy some downtime with the girls. Here is a preview of that~

Oh, and we’re opening a brand-new area: Mourning Wood. Yes, that’s the name.



Here is a concept of what the entrance to the new area will probably look like.

Tristan will explore this mysterious forest full of new monsters, new backgrounds, and special forest-only events. Chase says adapting existing events to fit this setting was “a bit of a headache”, but it’s done, and now it’s all about crafting new stuff and we're excited for you guys to try it out.

January:
Dawn and Morwenna headline Truth and Glory as Pog’s storyline gets an update as well.

A storyline packed with humor. The team couldn’t stop laughing when reviewing it, including a surprise lewd slide Sven snuck in, which caught Chase off guard but ended up working perfectly 😂Especially as it is for a new window minigame!

Plus we're finally able to use the confession room. Here is a little preview of the little area.



And a bath activity? It’s finally happening! It's getting wet. More info soon...

Also here is a little inside look on "The Early Planning Process" of how we plan ahead of our updates:

Months ahead is always when we start planning for the next few months' updates. Chase has been busy outlining updates for January and February since November to make sure everything gets done on time. Here’s how it works:

• Writers outline the big pieces of art needed for the story and send it to the artists.

• While the artists start sketching, they tweak and refine the scripts.

• As art for older updates comes in, they circle back, adjust the writing to fit the visuals, and tie up loose ends.

• Final scripts are handed off for coding and puppeteering.

• Then we test, play, break stuff, and fix it… rinse and repeat until it’s just right.

Hope this little tidbit helps anyone who was curious on how we work and maybe might even be useful to any devs out there :D
