Raven Explains Steam Stuff (Codes, Beta, and Updates)

hey. it's raven. ima explain steam stuff to you. 

so you joined our patreon at a level that gets you steam codes..
and now you wanna use your codez and get some lewd gamez.
awesome. ur cool. 

First, Get Steam

first of all, if u don't have steam installed already, install that.
u can get the instructions straight from gabe and his buddies @ valve here:

Then Enter the Code

when u have steam installed, open it up and enter in the code.
- go to GAMES
- go to ACTIVATE A PRODUCT ON STEAM

then it's gonna want that code. just put that there.
double check it's right. it's like a lot of numbers and shit, yo.

and that's it. steam is gonna start installing and stuff.

now u have the game in ur library.
just hit PLAY when its done installing and have fun.
every 4-6 weeks or so, we're gonna release an update
no worries. it SHOULD just auto update and when u play, it'll all be cool
u ain't gotta do shit. it'll sort it's shit out
all u gotta do now is play the game

NOW, if u wanna be cool u can join the BETA BRANCH

What this means is u r gonna have ur game updated like every couple of days
this way u'll see all of the new stuff we're building as we build it
it's pretty cool. but soe stuff might be broken some times
we're making new shit. it happens. be cool. 

if you want to get into the beta branch, its super easy
- go to ur library
- RIGHT click on PARADISE LUST - this'll give u a little popup
- click on PROPERTIES

click on BETAS and select the BETA option likein the picture
u don't need any "Beta access code" just blow that off.

u can check if ur in the BETA branch by the [beta] after the game name in the library If that's there, u in the beta. if not, u r not.  it SHOULD auto-update every time we have a new beta build.

if u ever wanna NOT be in the beta branch, u can just do the steps above in reverse. no big whoop. it'll make everything cool.

If u think you are NOT updated, u can check that!

click on the game, then properties

click on UPDATES. it shuld say "keep this game always updated'

u can force steam to check that you’ve got latest
- click LOCAL FILES
- click Verify Integrity of Game Files

...and that's it. super easy!
