Progress Update #3: May 6, 2021
Added 2021-05-05 08:46:55 +0000 UTCOk - we're heads down working - not a lot to share other than "good stuff coming" - but we did make a few changes to the Patreon:
1) We're now offering 1-Year @15% off subs. Dunno if anyone is into that, but... well, there was a tick box and I ticked it. So there.
2) We are officially now offering Steam keys at the $6 Crewmember level. We did that as a sort of EA special -a nd we've decided to keep doing that through the whole of the Early Access period.
You may wonder - why would we do that? Well, the simple answer is that we really want as many people as possible getting our game from Steam. This is the easiest way to keep your build up to date - and by using the Beta-Branch you can be up to the day current w/o having to do anything but open Steam. It's by far the safest, easiest distribution platform available and we know that the vast majority of our $6 patrons will keep contributing 2-3 months or more - which means you're easily covering the cost of a Steam purchase... so yeah. Why not give you a steam key instead of making you have to keep downloading files somewhere else?
Anyway, that's our logic. :)

2021-10-01 14:17:35 +0000 UTCYep - we update the Steam Beta branch almost daily. It's actually the version that we do most of our internal testing on - we use that to distribute to the team members. We TRY not to break savegames too much - but we get small issues now an then. If you're concerned, you can wait for the "official" Steam updates which are more or less monthly.

So you're saying that the most recent version of the game will always be available through the beta-branch on Steam? What are your plans and thoughts on save game compatibility? How often do you think save games will break due to updates?
