Just a thought, but i looks like he might be going for a two-fisted hammer strike (or "double axe handle" I think it is called?). Mostly a pro-wrestling/TV move meant to look cool but not really all that effective in real combat. That said, in this case he may be trying to KO us with his non-goo arm which we cannot absorb, while perhaps trying to enhance the blow with his other arm.
