Making A Change
Added 2023-05-15 14:00:08 +0000 UTCWe're always trying to improve the colors or things. As you've seen in the past we've changed the colors of Soarin', Applejack, Applebloom, and many others. Well today we are fixing the eye-soar to many that is Applebloom's text color.
The old font color was the same as her body color, and when side-by-side with Applejack's text, it was hard for some to differentiate. This new change is her text becoming the color of her red bow. This should certainly help. We also considered her color next to Big Mac's color, but thankfully we don't have Big Mac talk, so their text being side-by-side should not be an issue.
What are your thoughts? Is this a positive change, or can you think of a better option?

I'm good with the change. As to suggestions...maybe as a test, you could use different colors or shades to indicate emotions like say AB is sad you could use a more muted red vs. when she's super happy/angry and using a more vibrant shade.

2023-05-15 16:03:05 +0000 UTCI would note though that the red color is much more noticeable. In the panel, I actually find it a little hard to focus on Applebloom herself. Maybe it's only because the entire background is white? Still, the new version is far easier to read, so it is an improvement

Clashes will always happen and satisfactory compromises like this need to be made. In the event you find a reason for Big Mac to talk to Applebloom, go back to her coat color. Rigidity is for planks of wood, not creative endeavors.
