Progress update for 2024/03/27
Added 2024-03-17 10:03:55 +0000 UTCHeya everyone! So, here's another progress update. For summer growth, we're working on tying the story together. Now that we've written the setup for the bodybuilding event, we need to tie it to the various NPC's; as it turns out, our approach to NPC's makes this a LOT of work. How would Emma react, if you enter her field of passion? How does Kris take it to share the attention? How does Elena deal with all that attention on you? And, can Johan contain himself? All of these things we're bringing together, while also keeping the NPC's storyline in mind.
For Feudal growth, we're laying out the big foundations of the story. I introduced it to some of the other team members for the first time, and from this we got some BIG, and neccesary reworks, that we really need to handle. As such, what we spend time on right now is mostly maintenance.
As for global dev... I admit it's very slow. WHen I started Summer growth, back during the covid times, I had a lot more free time. Things were easier to do, as it was okay to do them hasty. Well, not all that is catching up, and even minor changes need a LOT of work to be included. It's been months since a release, and frankly, I don't think I could've hurried it up more. Not without burning myself out. I deeply appreciate all the support you guys give me, and the team. And, I hope you can bear with me. BUT, if the development time ever get's too slow... please let me know, and feel free to suspend your support for a while. These games are works of passion, and we love working on them. But, we want to be fair to you too. ^^
