Trixie (Early Concepts)

That's right, she wasn't actually wild-west themed when I first designed her! Originally, I placed Trixie in a more modern setting, where she was a race queen for a fictional car company called vROOm Motors.
Her overall personality didn't change a lot from back then - I always meant for her to be a bubbly airhead who doesn't think before she hops. The main difference with this old rendition of Trixie is that she got REALLY excited about race cars...and had some pink hair highlights.
I eventually felt dissatisfied with this though, which is why I reworked her overall concept into a wild-west heroine instead! I kept her overall body-shape, face, and colors the same as they worked pretty well already.
Also pictured in these early sketches are some spicier outfits and additional poses I experimented with for (prototype) Trixie. Boinnnnng! 😅

Oooh, a racing queen would've been interesting too! I hope you consider circling back to this concept if you make another oc in the future! The sticker ad sketch in particular is extremely cute
