Cos - Part 1
Added 2021-02-02 00:24:06 +0000 UTCCos was really an interesting story and another lesson I learned in Photography. She is a good friend of my other model friend , 13. I must also say that she is a highly intelligent person and a student spokesperson for female rights in Taiwan. So give interviews on radio and give speeches/presentations at many events. So it was interesting that someone like her were interested in shooting with me.
We started chatting on Instagram since she followed me and we realized we had the same birthday. We discussed my art and she said she wanted to have similar photos than 13 take of her. So I agreed and just planned my poses file like what I do with most models.
The day she arrived for the photoshoot I realized I made some some big mistakes in my planning. Her length was only 145cm. In Taiwan most girls are in the 155-160cm range and shortest model I had in the past was around 150cm (But quite skinny). I did not want to offend her by telling she is too short for many of the poses and just went through my list. However, the results was as I expected and quite a few poses were not suited for her bodylines and length. I eventually decided to take more photos from different angles of poses that do suit her. So photos from a bottom angle, close-ups and reclining poses seems to work the best with short models.
