Asus ROG Swift PG27AQWP-W Review

Comments

We've not specifically tested that on either the PG27AQDP firmware update, or on the PG27AQWP-W i'm afraid. my gut tells me it will add a small amount of lag for the additional processing and scaling but I'm not certain

Hello TFT, question regarding this monitor. I’ll start with preface then question. Preface: older oled monitors like the pg27aqdp from 2024 had a 24.5 inch mode which added a delay of around 3-4 ms [1]. There is some rumors this was fixed in firmware update..etc. Question: when using the PG27AQWP-W in its simulated 24.5 inch mode is there increased latency or not. After searching I’ve not found any reliable information regarding this. I’ve found that people that claim this monitor does or using googles ai summary/gpt most of these are just pulling from your older article on pg27aqdp which is from 2024 and might not represent new updates to the 24.5 inch simulated mode. can anyone from ASUS confirm if this mode is or is not supposed to add latency? Has anyone outside of ASUS verified this? [1] https://tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asus-rog-swift-pg27aqdp#Lag

Not for those Lg models I’m afraid, only for the Asus. Hope you’re enjoying it too 🙂
