That's my exact problem with them AHHH. It feels like a mockery. When I post this I'll add in the description that it's about neurotypicals using these in infantalizing ways, which feels like a joke

What I don't like about these products is promoting them not as "look! A tool to help you in your process towards this goal" but as a "yo, neurotypicals, let's do the bare minimum" :/

2021-10-08 11:58:49 +0000 UTCAs a person who goes non-verbal sometimes they were good for me to indicate to my partner when I am not coping or when I'm just doing my own thing happily. Though I prefered using my Kimochi and bag of feelings when I was really badly non-verbal. I'm a lot better these days.
