Reflections 58, 88, 97

haha

hahaha

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, literally all 3 of these are Reflections I'd want on my character. PLEASE KEEP EM COMING!

And here's the spreadsheet with the unlocked Reflections so far! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13s-kMNuxvayJZ3HylynTo1A9lN0CKd7aIED-ImoE87A/edit?usp=sharing

You can use that to keep track of what has or hasn't been shown! I might have missed one or two and if so I'm sorry!

These are the Reflections rolled from last week's post! I'll be doing 3 of these a week, please respond to this post with new numbers and I'll roll again next Monday! Also if you liked these say something nice at the same time.

Please note: these numbers don't represent the actual chronology number of each Reflection in-universe. These numbers represent their position on the d100 chart, and even that may change!

Each Reflection is broken into:

Chronology number - Title - Weapon Type - What attribute color it grants the character. I may also include GM notes about how it's supposed to be played/used!

58

X151 - Starfall Hammer - Hammer - Yellow: Comets falling stained the sky with molten streaks of red. What originally spelled doom for the clustered survivors became a sigil of victory as the last hero of all lifted high a hammer with the gravity of a meteor.

Power: EX

Defense: C

Tech: C

Anima: F

Special: A

Feedback: D

Gm’s note: HELL YEAH METEOR HAMMER. Literally a long hammer at the end of a chain that glows and EXPLODES WHEN YOU SMASH IT INTO THINGS. It’s basically the boom hammer from bloodborne + a belmont chain whip + thor’s hammer that can be used to detonate and rocket jump. I love this weapon. So much.

88

X413 - Cruel Joke - Lamppost - White: Perhaps the most unusual punishment employed by the demonic courts is Severance, a process of separating the soul for the body while leaving the body utterly intact. This polearm (?) bears the brunt of that curse, by invoking this weapon a human willingly rips their soul from their body allowing it to float freely through the air and leaving their inert body behind. By placing this ritually enhanced lightpost nearby, the soul will instead be drawn to that lamp and find a new home amid the steel. This weapon can easily be reforged into a shape that better suits the soul, and a weapon reinforced by both soul and ritual is a powerful armament indeed. However, in order to move the now motionless husk of flesh left behind, one must be in constant contact with their newly weapon-ified self.

GM’s note: Reflection with the highest stats that kills you instantly.

97

X497 - Feast and Famine - Twin Swords - Yellow and White: A pair of blades born to this unusual world. One was forged by a blacksmith backed by the crown, with all the resources of the kingdom poured into the blade. The other was forged by a blacksmith who mined, refined and forged the very metal she used to create the blade. As work reached its fever pitch, each blacksmith placed their all into the blade, beginning to break off chunks of their own metallic skin and using their very bones and sinew to harden each sword. When the contest was complete, neither blacksmith still lived and each blade remained in a state of half-completion on the forge.

Defense: D

Tech: C

Anima: A

Special: E

Feedback: F

Gm’s note: A pair of incredibly cursed dual blades that actually grant two stats instead of one on acquisition. The wielder has to deal with not one but two quietly cursed artifacts yanking their soul in opposite directions. However, this weapon lacks high feedback so the curse is very… traditional. These blades are functionally peerless when wielded together and if one is able to balance themselves and the twin ideologies of the weapon they are, in terms of practical, martial weapons, peerless.
