Quick Update.
Added 2021-09-19 16:34:37 +0000 UTCSo guys, if everything goes smooth enough, you're going to have the entire All-Might VS Thrall match, consisting of ten panels posted on September the 30th. Then CMB will take a back seat for the Orctober challenge, which I will use to get accustomed to a more paint-like style, starting from grayscale. I don't say that I won't post any CBM panel in the upcoming month, but only if I have spare time.
The animation is going on, I dedicate 70 minutes as average per day and even if I can't say yet when it will be ready, at least it isn't left moldering in my WIP folder.
Sadly I made some steps back, because after trying to make sense of two adjacent keyframes that had two non-consecutive poses with an absurd spin animation that was sucking my energies dry, Hogswild advised me to not dwell anymore in that sunk cost fallacy and just redraw the keyframes.
So yeah, I'm trashing a lot of frames, but they were made around some keys that I drew four months ago (god I suck!) and didn't reflect my level of confidence with those character designs.
If there's something tangible that these animations are giving me, it's that my anatomical memory has boosted and I rely much less on photo references.
At least when it comes to burly himbos with bigger arms than legs. I should draw some human-proportioned dudes to refresh my memory in that field. Someday.
