I know, there should have been a SkyHorn page yesterday, but I had a problem. I have a problem. A very serious addiction to the game Hades. I started playing it just to understand the Zeus character that will feature in CBM, and it totally swallowed me with its dopamine rushes.
Every time you die in that game you go back to the hub and you have the opportunity to spend the currencies collected so far for new weapons, power-ups, and healing zones in the dungeon. And you immediately want to try a new run with the new set of perks.
Also the art style, I know, the characters are gorgeous, but the backgrounds are no less.
I've spent most of the weekend mashing my fingers on the controller, I didn't trim my beard, I didn't work out, I didn't read, I didn't prepare my meals, and I didn't finish the page of SkyHorn.
Also because playing so much affected my sleep, and my drawing skill. I've discarded the sketches of that page something like three times because I wasn't pleased with the results.
So, a new week has started, and I intend to keep under control this addiction. Maybe it will be easier now that I've unlocked all the weapons. And I will focus on imagining the consequences of my choices, instead of the immediate satisfaction, like now being tired, stunned, and bitter because I've played 'till midnight.
I want to be a serious artist and give you the adventure you love.
