Character Sheet - Evo the Lion and Lunus the Wolf
Added 2020-09-03 20:33:23 +0000 UTCSince I’m a serious artist, I made the references for the lion (demi-dragon) and the wolf. So you won't see jewelry or patches of colors disappearing (I hope!)
Maybe, if you paid attention to the previous reference sheets (the cavemen), you’d notice that those are inked, instead of having a sketch feel. That’s because I surrendered to the fact that posting a colored sketch is more work put in polishing it and control the color layer than anything. Linework is my shtick and I’m happy that it passed from being one of the things that most frustrated me to one I’m pretty good at.
So, back to the subjects.
Evo is a Demidragon that happens to look like a manticore but without the scorpion tail. His status, like Demigods in Greek Mythology, causes him to be antagonized both by mortals and other Dragons, and the fact he’s quite a self-centered kind of guy doesn’t help. His mixed blood doesn’t give him any peculiar power, except immortality, and he learned magic like everyone else at Skyhorn Island. My bonking as many dudes as he could. Hate him or love him, your choice.
Lunus, despite his appearance, is a mage at home, but he had a lot of difficulties climbing the hierarchical ladder because of his ethic and refusal for moral compromise.
That makes him also quite a mediocre mage, given the creepiness of some of the continental spells, that he doesn’t want to perform.
But, fortunately for him, he won’t be able to use them here, if he doesn’t want to have another emanation of the Dragons to chase him again, and he will have to learn SkyHorn magic like everyone else.
He acted quite shy and tender with Odam so far, but just because Odam is the kind of guy that always makes people feel at ease.
