If some of you are wondering why in the Zodiac there's such an odd-looking beast, the explanation is very funny.
It intertwines with the myth of Typhon, a monster so powerful that overpowered Zeus, imprisoned him and removed his tendons.
The remaining gods fled to Egypt, transformed into animals, and created the Egyptian pantheon, that, as you know, is made of anthros.
Pan, the bucolic god of sexual drives and inebriation, that has satyr attributes and inspired the caprine figure of the Christian Devil (having fun is EVIL, remember) transformed in a creature half-fish and half-goat.
Because apparently, the god of being horny and drunk in the woods isn't a good shapeshifter. And we got one of the most bizarre creatures of mythology up there in the sky.
Oh yeah, because after a while Pan helped Zeus to have his tendons back and defeat Typhon. And you know what gods to creatures that are grateful to.
They smack them up in the sky.
So we must assume that Pan was is in his Capricorn form when he helped Zeus.
By the way, I imagine this race be the most chill of them all. You know, smelling the roses, talking about their feelings, singing all day, getting drunk every night with Egyptian beer, and bonking everything that doesn't say No.
