Ok, that was kind of a low blow: before posting the pool for the switch of the PoV character, I didn't show you that the tribe of the paleo dudes is a mixed group of feral humans and bats. I'm sorry.

I hope that you will like the companionship of the gorilla character. Here shown, in the night of the shipwreck, in all his almighty strength and personality.

BTW, yeah, mixed tribe. Specism in this world doesn't exist because the author finds it cheesy and uncanny, especially when compared to real-world racism.

Where do carnivores get the meat they need? From giant bugs. It looks nice and creative to me.

I still can't get past the first episode of Beastars because of that contrived conflict.

I know that I shouldn't say that about a story with anthropomorphic animals as protagonists, but there are so many made-up social and biological rules I can't relate to that.

Maybe the problem is that these rules aren't set to create novelty and wonder, but just to make all the characters so damn miserable.

Anyway should I grit my theet and give the show another try?
