Gorgons' Gaze

Of the three Gorgon sisters, only Medusa was mortal, which is what allowed Perseus to behead her centuries ago. Stheno and Euryale survive to the present day, occasionally preying on Amazons that stumble too close to their lair. One gaze from either of the Gorgons can ensnare the mind, or turn their victim's bodies into solid stone.
