lots of returned tangerine mail :(

I stopped by my PO box this morning to grab any lingering packages and things before Connor and I drive down to Cali tomorrow, but to my surprise, SO MANY tangerine envelopes got returned to me! Seemingly all the ones sent down to Australia and New Zealand were refused...I'm holding onto all AU/NZ parcels until the mail suspension down there is lifted. If you're an Aussie/New Zealand tangerine, and you want to cancel your pledge until that happens, I totally understand! I'll hold onto your mail regardless and send it out soon as I can.
I got some US mail returned to me too, for whatever reason? I'll just double check and have those resent soon as I return from this trip.
Also! A lot of other international mail got sent back to me, cause apparently now we can't use abbreviated country names? So, l can no longer put IE for Ireland, etc. Which is news to me lolol -- I'll also get those readdressed and sent out when I get back.
There are some parcels that got returned cause they are "not deliverable as addressed" or they're missing a last name -- please take a moment to verify your mailing address and make sure it is complete!! I'm really really sorry for all the headache, and what a nightmare the post system is right now..I know everyone is doing their best, but it's all a bit frustrating regardless. I'll resend all the parcels I'm able to when I return, and I'll work on reaching out to individual folks about resends if need be <3

2022-01-21 19:50:54 +0000 UTCI don't know if this has happened in other places, but our mail system in my city is so understaffed they stopped delivering paper mail all together for weeks. (we still get packages fine, just nothing in an envelope) They didn't notify anyone this was (and still is) happening, and its been a really big mess trying to get our mail here. I managed to get my tangerine mail after re-routing it to a p.o box, but it took an extra few weeks, so its also worth people checking in with their post offices to make sure nothings happening like that if their addresses are all entered right
