diy notepad tutorial + download !!

HEY FRIENDS here's something different! a little mini diy tutorial! i was doodling around, and decided to whip this little dude up — it's a surprisingly simple process, and the end of it ur left with a super cute little notepad that you made all on your own! READ ON TO LEARN ! 

step 1 — print and cut the attached template!!

so, download the .png attached to this and print it off! make sure you choose the US LETTER > BORDERLESS option on your print dialog box. then, using a paper trimmer or scissors, cut each sheet up into quarters. get 'em as even as possible! they should measure 4.25" across the top and 5.5" down the side. i printed 8 pages, for a total of 32 sheets in the notepad. i think 50-60 is a better number, but do however many you like! 

step 2 — line 'em up!!

line up the pages so they're as evenly stacked as possible. i also cut a piece of chipboard to size (4.25"x5.5") and placed that at the back of the stack, for added sturdiness. you can use scrap cardboard or a cereal box !! once everything is aligned properly, hold it together on the sides using clothespins, binder clips, or chip bag clips even! 

step 3 — glue it together!!

using an old paint brush or sponge brush, paint an even layer of mod podge (or any sort of craft glue) along the top margin to hold all the pages together. make sure you get in to all the nooks and crannies! and clean up any excess around the edges. 

step 4 — put it under something heavy, and wait for it to dry!

after a new minutes, once the mod podge/glue has had a chance to set a bit, remove the clips and put your notepad under something heavy (like a big book) to keep the pages compressed and flat. be a bit careful here, so you don't nudge your pages out of place. wait about an hour for it to dry completely, and you have ur very own notepad !! wahoo !!
