Today I wanted to share some progress on Zoey's house - here are some variants of its design.
I tried to make more standard and more interesting ones - I understand that some might not fit, but maybe we will find ones that can be adapted or used for some other buildings in the future.
Here was the version we went for Zoey’s apartment complex:
For better speed, I decided to test these colors only on the fragment we're working on right now (as I think it would perfectly scale into remaining pieces of the location anyway). I know that we already have the night version of the city in the game - but still decided to explore a bit how it could look. Note that this is mostly a test of values. Some of the changes here might seem insignificant, but even the smallest ones can make a big difference. When we decide on fitting values, I can make further variations on color based on that (although they would differ mostly in mood and post-fx I think, as colors for ground/buildings in base wouldn't change that much).
And of course. please note that assets and lights are still WIP (with some of the lights being placeholders), and in the final version it all will look even better :))
The Nox updated all the building tiles to new values+added tiles for building number 3.,updated and new ground tiles - roof ground, asphalt, new tiles for trade and top areas. Basic tiles for the road - only the straight one and walkway for this particular scene. Road sides, connecting with asphalt - just straight tiles for now

Ena had added some of the previously added scifi variations in, and also added the enforcer as well!
