wahoOo i've been meaning to share with you the results from our survey a while back but kept forgetting to (pls blame it on my goldfish memory lol)... ok ok let's duckin' goOo

why did you join duck club?

honestly it's really interesting to read your custom answers!! "why did you join duck club?" "more duckies MORE DUCKIES" what does that even mean hahhahahahah

but seriously i didn't expect that a lot of you would answer "for support" almost as much as the wallies and icons rewards! i do know that some of you are just here for support (and probably never downloaded the goodies 🤡) but still this club started off as a phone wallpaper club so i've always thought that people are here for the wallies mostly!

so yeahh thank quack for being here and for your sweet comments! 💛

what devices do you apply your wallpaper to?

i should've expected that most of you are here for the phone wallies ! but whenever i work on the wallies i always focus more on the desktop illustration (and arrangements) then just do whatever with the phone wallies (so long as they look OK) hahaha maybe next time i'll try drawing more illustrations that are especially made to fit the phone wallpapers.. i remember doing this a loong long time ago when we were just a small ducky pond and all we have were phone wallies. let me try to bring back the me from that time (time machine where?!)

also who are the 4 clowns who do not use the phone wallpapers pls 🤡🤡🤡🤡 and that one person who prints them for their journal! that's an interesting use! very valid 💯💯

what's your phone's OS?

whoa now this is unexpected for me.. as someone who's been using android for all my life and who lives in a country where more people use android than iphone hmmm.. the problem is that i only have an android phone so i can't really try my wallies + icons out for the iOS version.. that's why maybe it doesn't fit all that well, sorry about that! 💦 some of you mentioned in the suggestions that the icons got cropped sometimes so recently i've tried to give more space for the background,, hopefully it's not a problem anymore!

i think someone also said that their clock is placed around the bottom of the lock screen?! it's becoming more confusing for me as to where to put the illustration for the lock screen.. on samsung phones the clock is generally around the top but sometimes the notifications get to the middle, which is why i tend to place the objects near the bottom welp... maybe the solution can be alternating some wallpapers with illustration at the top sometimes... 🤔🤔 we'll see!

anyway to those of you who use both iOS and android,, good for you!!! this is your win!!!👏👏 and to that one person who doesn't use it on phone,, ok i guess 🤡👌

which phone wallpaper version did you use?

which one do you prefer for the desktop wallpaper?

since most of you answered both,, i thought i can alternate between a fully illustrated and a simpler one ... but if you know me,, i like chaos,,, 🔥🔥🔥 so it's still very likely that a not so simple aka very crowded desktop wallpaper will make more appearance here muahahah

which one do you prefer for the background color of wallpapers in general?

bad news to the 5.1% of you who chose dark colors: i rarely use dark colors!!!! 🌞🌞🌞✨

can your phone use an animated lock screen/wallpaper?

i initially thought of throwing in an animated lock screen every now and then but based on this chart, not even 50% of you can use it so idk?? maybe sometimes i'll make it for the 38.9% of the duck population?!

are 10 icons enough for you?

looks like most of you are satisfied with 10 icons,, add the 13.6% who use less than 10 to the 61.1% and that's 100% of the population! jkjk i can't math but the 25.3% of you who need more icons can probably revolt against me 🔥 hahahahah but the good news is we have a possibility to earn 5 more icons if we reach 900 duckies in the club goal!! 🐤🐤🐤

how happy are you with the ducky wallpapers and icons so far?

can i take it as everyducky is satisfied??? 🌚 the 6 duckies who give 3 star ratings,, who are u i just wanna talk 😶🔪 jkjkjk

some of you suggested for me to make icons that correspond with the app like a camera icon for camera or phone for phone but i will NOT listen!! hahaha no but i'm a bit uncertain on this,, i like making icons that fit the theme and can be placed as like items in the wallpaper's scenery.. but this may only apply to the desktop version and not phone,, while if i make a camera and phone icons and all the other stuff they may not fit the background all that well 🤔 so what i'm thinking in response to this idea are:

1. making a few icons that can BOTH correspond with some phone apps AND fit the theme's scenery. the example of this is our current detective ducky icons,, there are only a few of them but i tried incorporating a camera, a note, a walkie talkie (maybe can be used for phone?!), the magnifying glass can maybe work for like a search app or a browser 🤔🤔 also the cloud for a cloud app? something like that

2. mayybe there will be one time we have all the 10 icons as basic phone icons?? not too sure about this though...

3. if we reach the extra 5 icons goal (when we reach 900 duckies, if ever) we can use the 5 extras especially reserved for the basic phone icons??

this too idk what to do with it but oh man i hope the printables come out ok with your home printers!!

and if you do not own a printer i pray you get to steal a  printer someday,, jkjk hope you're able to get one if you need one!

hmmm i think this means i still need to improve the printables,, compared to the icons there are now 26 duckies in the 3 star rating i need to fight 🐥🔪 hahahah just kidding and omg i didn't even notice before there's a 1 person there in the 1 star lmaoooo pls make yourself more seen somehow

oh god idk but on a serious note,, i did read your suggestions! if you noticed, for this month i added a print-ready pdf for the memo and to do list! so that's one improvement i guess 🤡

how satisfied are you with the new customization option?

i'll just turn a blind eye on the 1 and 2 star ratings 🤗 hahahah but yeah this customization won't change any time soon! i'll be adding more items slowly just like how we've been doing it so far though!!

mostly the problem is with time limit but it shouldn't be a problem anymore since i send out new links to your inbox at the end of the month!

i'm not sure why some people can't download from google drive,, maybe it's the device?? 🤔

but yeah anyway patreon had a survey for creators just recently and i wrote an essay about all this problem of storing downloadable files and to limit access of posts to only active members of the month so i hope they'll listen and make improvements soon!! that way there will be no more google drive and forgetting to download problems and the world will be a better place

there were two interesting suggestions that i want to take on!

1. FIRST! some of you suggested a collab, and some mentioned i could use other characters as variations ! so!! i decided to have some collabs with COOL artists this year 😎😎😎 we have 4 collaborations lined up this year!! and the first one is coming right next month 👁👄👁🔥

what's so exciting about this collab thingy is not just that we'll have other characters together with ducky in our wallies but ALSO ducky will be featured in the other artist's patreon!! meaning there will be ducky stuff that you can obtain by joining that artist's patreon 🐥🔪✨ how bout that!! i just want to rob ur money and make sure you support my friends as well!! hahahaha jkjk but i'm super pumped for this!

i won't reveal righht away who the artists are!! you'll find out when i do our usual poll OR if you happen to follow the artists and find out from them 👀 but! one thing you'll have to know is that unlike our usual poll, when we have the collaboration happening in a month, it means that the theme had already been decided (in my secret talk with the collaborating artist) so you don't get to choose a wide variety of themes but there will still be a poll for the more specific details! ✨ well, you'll see when the poll for april is out some time soon 🔥🔥

2. SECOND! some of you suggested like a loyalty reward thing! which is something i've actually been thinking about for a long time!! so what i want to do is probablyy giving out a little extra thing (possibly an extra phone wally) to members who have been here for hmm 1 year+ ?? but!! the problem is just i still haven't figured out the technical issue for the delivery,, could be secretly sending a DM to those who are eligible... or something like that! i'll try to find out how i can do it but if it's too hard to do maybe i won't do it...... 🤡🤡 hahaha no no jkjk,, i do want to give something as a token of appreciation to loyal members so i'll figure this out and we'll see!!!
