New Bedtime Scene when loading the Mission Launch Day?
Added 2023-07-03 14:59:28 +0000 UTCHey! I think we are kind of good on the latest release, outside of some small bugs I need to document more, designing a bad ending screen and some text for the bad ending.
(Keep in mind that the bad ending is just flavor text that loads the save before the decision that leads to the bad ending or the good ending, so it's nothing gamebreaking)
Now it's time to plan ahead for Day4/Final Day at the ISA which consists mostly of the spaceship launch. The flow for the Final Day will probably be like:
- You enter the bedroom in Day3 and encounter a recap dialogue over what happened in Day3 (and maybe more days before that)
- You go to sleep (here we can insert a new scene with its own dialogue)
- You wake up, a wakeup dialogue triggers and you automatically equip the academy clothes.
- You go outside of the player's bedroom outside the hallway, where ISA agents will be waiting to escort you towards the pre-boarding room.
- In the pre-boarding room, you can talk with other recruits and maybe reporters, but there won't really be opportunity for NSFW content, or maybe... something something minor favor for a reporter, not sure about it yet, but to at least not keep the environment bland.
- After you're done chatting, you can go towards the boarding room, where you'll meet Alberto, Morris, and Ted.
- Next is TBD, but I've been working on an After Effects animation for the spaceship launch/crash into the alien planet.
Therefore, depending on how much time the above would require me (designing the pre-boarding room, the boarding room, the flow, writing the dialogues, implementing the dialogues, etc.) I don't know if we can include a NSFW scene right away so in order to make sure that this build will at least have something, a static (or depending on public opinion, an animated) going to sleep scene at the end of Day3 may be worth considering.
So having all the above details, please vote on whether you think it's worth working on a new bedtime scene, keeping in mind that this won't really prevent me from finishing the ISA chapter in this month's update.
Thank you for your time!
