Hey! I've been working on the simplest popular votes from my latest poll.
So far, I've been working on elements we can chain together to make the first update to the combat system more engaging and interesting.
I thought that information can be immersive, so for the Flee action, depending on what went right and what went wrong, a text will be displayed that will let you know why you succeeded/failed to flee from the enemy. So far, the Flee actions accounts for your character's energy levels and whether she's Freezing/Overheating. The end result, depending on the context of the action and the environment will be a roll dice. The flee action can have any value between 0% and 100% to succeed.

The Submit action is also implemented, but will be a bit expanded on soon. For now, it just leads onto the Lost scene for that encounter.
There will also be visual effects in case your character is overheating (sweating) or if your character is freezing. I thought they'd be nice to see.
So, this is what I have so far. Bit by bit, improvements to the combat system are being made and soon after we have a proper first version of the improved system, I'll implement a combat encounter part of Sarah's Ending Quest.
