Hey! I've been meaning to post more updates lately, but I've been focused on fixing the last bugs and minor features.
I think we are at a point where we can finally return to our normal release schedule and to incremental changes across multiple versions. There were many bugs caused by the implementation of a basic RPG system for the clothes and your character. They are the reason for the temporary "freeze" in the release schedule.
Today I've fixed the last annoying bugs and tomorrow I should update all the Patreon builds & release this version to the public.
With those out of the way, the target for the next update is finishing Sarah's Quest and introducing several changes to the combat system to make it more interesting.
Because all the suggestions I've received about the combat system were slightly overwhelming, I've decided to take it one step at a time. This is why, I've started working on biomes.
Each area in the game will belong to a biome. A simple example of how this will affect combat is temperature. Wearing exposing clothing during a fight in a cold area can make your character shiver, leading to a negative modifier that may affect the results of the actions you make.
A simple example of how this will affect normal gameplay is wind. Wearing a skirt inside a windy environment, depending on how tight and long it is, can lead to unique mini-events such as a breeze that lifts up your character's skirt.
Enough about that for now. Basically, the point is that it's been long enough since the last proper update and once we have the builds updated & release for tomorrow, I can finally get back to developing content.
In the attachments I've included screenshots of my Trello tasks and my progress on them. Most of the bugs are fixed and most of the tasks that are left are related to what I'll be working on from Monday.
Thank you.
