Malevolent Planet v0.0.5 Public version and latest news
Added 2020-06-14 15:33:55 +0000 UTCHey! The 2 weeks have passed since I posted the Patreon-exclusive version. Since then, I have tried to fix whatever I could find that was wrong with it (bugs and others), but I could not find many so.. ultimately I've been working more on the next version as much as I could given the fact that my HDD died.
The Life Simulator will mark release v0.1.0 as it introduces a whole new gameplay system. I have been drawing the next maps, a village and a city hub and they will come in the next development update. As a result of the camel toe types vote, I will add them to the game and they will be an exclusive Patreon cosmetic feature. As part of my own research, it seems that locking story content behind the Patreon paywall is not a very wise choice so I am starting out with cosmetics in order to reach a more comfortable situation financially which will ultimately result in more development time and more art.
I also managed to host the game on itch.io so you will be able to play the public version without downloading anything into the future. You can find the page here. When the financial situation allows me, I will also buy a website and hosting that will allow Patrons to play the Patreon-only version online.
Next up is posting on Reddit and f95zone.to and updating it on tfgamessite and hypnopics . I hope that the last linear version will be received well because motivation helps me to put in more work into making Malevolent Planet a content-rich game with well-thought gameplay systems and interactive NSFW scenes in space.
