Channeling Your Inner Child [ABDL CONTENT]

To be a good spirit medium, constant practice was needed. Practice that would hone both the body and the soul, something to allow the channeler to become one with the spirit and take on their form. This was something that everyone who lived in Kurain Village knew, and among them was one Pearl Fey.

Heading towards a secluded, nearly empty room in her home, Pearl decided to get some practice in before her elder cousin returned. Though a gifted and impressive spirit medium in her own right, Maya could be a bit...distracting at times. Something that could make getting in some training rather difficult. So using the brief period of time in which Maya was away, Pearl sat in the middle of the room, only lit by candle light, and began to focus.

Clearing her head of all thoughts, focusing solely upon opening her body up, Pearl sat in silence and concentrated. She was not planning to channel any spirits at the moment, only doing this to train so that she could better do so in the future. However, that did not mean that a spirit couldn't overcome her body even still. At this moment, her body was opened up and ready to accept any spirits, whether she was searching for them or not. That meant that any passing spirit of the deceased could come along and take over...and that's exactly what happened.

Spirits of all ages existed, and unfortunately, that meant that those of infants did as well. One such spirit happened to be around at that very moment, and seeing Pearl sitting there, open and ready to accept it, the spirit wasted no time. The moment that Pearl felt herself beginning to be taken over, her eyes widened in shock as she struggled to escape from it, something that no spirit medium should ever do. She was panicked, however, and not thinking straight at all.

“H-Hey, get away! Stop!” Pearl exclaimed as she continued to try and break free of the spirit’s hold on her. This worked...at least, somewhat. Nonetheless, the spirit kept its hold of her, and in the process began to make a most peculiar change within the girl…

At the same time, Maya hummed as she began to return home, carrying with her a few bags from a shopping trip. “Pearly! I'm home!” She called out as she walked in, but she received no answer. Strange...she was still here, right? Beginning to walk around, she called out again, and once more received no answer. Troubling. “Hey, Pearl! Where are you?” Eventually, she found herself standing in front of the training room. Maybe she was just in there? Deciding to see, she creaked open the door and began to peek inside.

And when she peeked inside, what she saw was something she was certainly never prepared for. Pearl was indeed in the training room, but she wasn’t doing any training. No, instead she was crawling around on the floor, babbling to herself as she looked around at anything and everything that seemed interesting to her.

“Umm...Pearl? Is everything alright?” Maya asked as she walked in, immediately picking up in the strange behavior and heading over towards her younger cousin. “You, umm...don't quite seem like yourself…”

Pearl looked up at Maya, her face confused as she stared at the older girl. Instead of any intelligible response, Pearl just continued to babble, even beginning to drool just a little bit as she spoke. Clearly, she was in no position to communicate right now.

“Oh, umm...well…” Maya walked over and did her best to lift her cousin up, struggling a little, but managing to just barely do so anyways. “Let's get you out of here…” She said, walking out of the room and setting Pearl down on a mat in the main living room. “Okay, so...she's just like...a baby…”

Once she had been set down in the living room, Pearl was once again overwhelmed by new things to look at and potentially play with, immediately beginning to crawl around the room and look at everything it had to offer. If nothing else, she certainly had the attention span of an infant right now…

Quickly, Maya began to brainstorm exactly how this had managed to happen. Pearl was normally rather intelligent, at least as much as someone who grew up rather sheltered could be. Well, even then this behavior would be rather abnormal even for someone who wasn’t intelligent. So what could have happened...and then she considered exactly where she had found Pearl. In the training room…

“Pearl...were you trying to channel a spirit? Maybe...a baby?” Maya asked the younger medium, looking for even the smallest of glimpses in Pearl’s eyes for an answer.

The only response Maya got out of the younger girl was more babbling, not even a hint of the actual Pearl Fey inside. Whatever spirit Pearl had channeled, it had clearly completely taken her over, at least mentally. And then, of course, Pearl just went right back to crawling around without a care in the world.

Now this was concerning. Maya watched as Pearl crawled around and babbled, before beginning to think things through again. Something clearly went wrong with the channeling process, and for whatever reason Pearl had been summoning the spirit of an infant at that moment. Spirits could be exorcised, but it would take time to prepare that and ready the spiritual energy. And so until then...she had to get supplies.

Walking over to a closet, she pulled out Pearl’s old stroller from when she was an infant, rolling it over to her and beginning to put her in. She couldn't just leave her here, after all, and she also didn't think she could possibly call someone up to look after her either. “Alright, get in...we’re going to the store.” She said, strapping her into the stroller that barely fit her.

Even though she barely fit into the stroller, Pearl showed no signs of discomfort whatsoever as she was placed into the stroller. She just sat down in it without a fuss, beginning to hum an off-key, off-pitch tune to herself as she was pushed out of the house.

Blushing as she strolled Pearl out the door, Maya found herself the only one of the two embarrassed by this whole thing. Mostly because Pearl didn't have the mentality to be embarrassed at the moment. She could tell that all eyes were on her as she pushed Pearl through the village, doing her best to get things over with as soon as possible.

While the two girls walked across the village, Maya would be able to hear all the bystanders whispering to themselves, wondering why two members of the Fey clan were out in public in such a weird and frankly indecent manner. But of course, Pearl didn’t care one bit, just continuing to hum to herself happily.

Speeding up and quickly pushing Pearl into the nearest baby supply store, which was quite frankly the only one they had in their small little village, Maya began to push her cousin through the aisles while avoiding any attention. “Alright, well, lets...I suppose we should first get you some protection…” She muttered.

Pearl didn’t really understand what Maya had just said to her, and frankly she didn’t really need to know. Because while this store sold baby supplies, it also sold baby toys, which Pearl was clearly far more interested in, as evident by her immediately trying to reach for them.

“H-Hey, no, stop it.” Maya said as she pulled Pearl away from the toys. “We only need to get what's needed to take care of you, okay?” She said as she started to grab a pack of diapers that would hopefully fit Pearl off of the shelf.

What Maya failed to realize as she scolded Pearl was that mentally, Pearl was just an infant right now. And when infants didn’t get what they wanted, there was only one thing for them to do. Immediately beginning to tear up, it didn’t take long for Pearl to start wailing and crying loudly, upset and disappointed that she wasn’t allowed to get any toys.

Eyes widening as she realized her mistake, Maya quickly began to panic, and she remedied the situation by grabbing the closest doll in her reach and putting it in Pearl’s hands. “W-Well, umm, I suppose that I can get you some toys!”

The second the doll was placed into her hands, Pearl immediately calmed down, now just smiling and hugging the doll tightly as she began to play with it. Well, at least babies were easily entertained…

Sighing in relief at the fact that she had managed to placate Pearl quickly, Maya quickly went to grab all the changing supplies she needed, before bringing her to a dedicated toy aisle. “A-Alright, pick out whatever you'd like.”

That was a statement Maya would regret saying, as the second Pearl was brought over to the toy aisle, her eyes sparkled with wonder as she grabbed every toy off the shelves, holding onto as many of them as she could carry. Babies had no sense of limits, after all.

“N-Now hold on, that's...a lot…” Maya said as she slowly began to take one of the toys away from Pearl, a simple rattle at that. “Let's just put a few of these toys back on the shelves, okay…?”

As expected, Pearl immediately began to whine loudly as the toy was taken away from her, reaching up towards it to try and take it back from Maya. Once again, tears began to well up in her eyes, and it was clear she was seconds away from beginning to cry again.

Sighing, Maya gave the toy back with a nervous smile. “A-Actually, you know what, you can have all the toys you've got.” She said, knowing this would hurt her wallet, but also certain that it'd be better than hearing nonstop crying.

And once again, Pearl immediately went back to her usual good mood as the toy was handed back to her, smiling as she held all the toys she had grabbed off the shelves close to her chest. Unfortunately for Maya, Pearl didn’t exactly understand the concept of money right now.

Sighing, Maya then began to stroll Pearl over to the counter, beginning to take everything out and place it for the cashier to ring up. “All of...this, please.” She said, doing her best to not make a scene or draw more attention to Pearl than needed.

Pearl, on the other hand, clearly didn’t have a care in the world, grabbing a rattle from the pile of toys she had in her hands and beginning to shake it happily. The cashier was a bit confused by this, but Pearl DID look adorable sitting in a stroller and shaking with a rattle, so any feelings of confusion were far outweighed by her desire to coo at and coddle this adorable little girl. “You’re so lucky, getting to take care of such an adorable baby~” The cashier said with a smile.

“O-Oh, umm...thank you?” Maya replied, confused at the reaction, but certainly not about to question it as she watched the cashier ring everything up. All the while she watched Pearl happily playing, finding it adorable, yet certainly something troubling if it kept up for a while. After everything was finished being paid for, Maya helped to bag all of it before starting to leave. “A-Alright, let's go…”

Pearl simply kept shaking her rattle without a care in the world, too wrapped up in her playtime to even realize that they had left the store. However, she would soon find something else to care about, as she suddenly felt a twinge in her bladder which caused her to begin squirming around awkwardly.

Noticing this, Maya didn't take long to realize exactly what was going on, and it was something that she had hoped would have at least waited until they got home. “A-Alright, let's...get you changed into a diaper…” She said, finding a nearby bench and laying Pearl down on it.

Pearl simply continued to squirm even as she was laid down on the bench. Part of her wanted to just let go right then and there, but there was still some hint of the real Pearl inside, who was trying to keep her body from wetting herself. So she didn’t really know what to do right now, hence her constant squirming.

Hoping that no one was looking, Maya began to remove Pearl’s undergarments after laying her down, sliding a diaper under her bottom and powdering before taping it up as quickly as she could. “A-Alright, there.”

Pearl finally stopped squirming as the diaper was taped onto her… But that was only because the second it was finally taped on, Pearl finally let go, immediately beginning to wet herself with a look of relief on her face as she did so.

Maya sighed as she watched, knowing that this was what was going to happen. “Well, at least we managed to get the diaper on in time…” Maya muttered, before placing Pearl back into the stroller. “I'll change you into a dry diaper back at home, okay?”

Pearl wasn’t exactly complaining at this idea. Mostly because all she cared about was that she managed to relieve herself, and also because she was too young (mentally, anyway) to talk regardless. Instead, she just smiled and began to shake her rattle again happily as she was placed into the stroller.

Not wanting to be out there for even a moment longer than necessary, Maya quickly made her way back towards her house, strolling Pearl in and then taking her out of her stroller and back onto the ground. “Finally, back home…”

The second they got home and Pearl was out of the stroller, the young girl seemingly forgot that she was still in need of a diaper change, as the second she was put on the floor, she immediately began to crawl away from Maya to go play with… something. Clearly something she found more interesting than anything else at the moment…

Groaning, Maya rolled her eyes and walked after Pearl, soon catching up with her and beginning to lift her up. “Come on, let's get you changed, and then you can go ahead and play with all of your toys.”

Pearl whined just a little bit as she was suddenly taken away from whatever she was crawling towards, but she didn’t complain too much, since she knew Maya was just trying to take care of her at this point. So she just nestled into Maya’s hold, allowing the girl to carry her off.

Maya went over towards her bags and pulled out a changing mat that she had purchased at the store, just large enough to be useful for Pearl as she laid her down on it. “Let's get that soaked diaper off of you…” She said as she untaped it and promptly began to wipe.

Pearl began to squirm around as she was wiped up, the cold feeling of the wipes on her body not exactly a pleasant experience. She also began to whine slightly, but outside of these two things she didn’t really do much to try and stop the diaper change. She was just being too fussy for her own good.

Holding Pearl’s legs with one arm to make sure that she wasn't squirming too much and cleaning her up with the other, Maya eventually finished and then began to sprinkle the baby powder. “Almost done.” She said as she began to tape a new diaper onto her.

As soon as the new diaper was taped on snugly, Pearl immediately began her adventure once more, crawling away from the changing mat and back towards the pile of toys that had been placed in the middle of the room, beginning to dig through it to find something she wanted to play with.

Deciding that she couldn't let Pearl out of her sights for even a moment, Maya followed after and began to sit directly across from her younger cousin on the other side of the toys. “Alright, what are you going to play with first?” She asked, though she didn't really expect an answer.

As expected, Pearl didn’t respond to Maya’s question at all. Instead, she just grabbed a set of toy keys from the pile, beginning to shake them around and giggling as the multi-colored keys began to jingle around with each other. Babies were so easily entertained…

Of course, Maya couldn't help but smile a little at the sight, enjoying ever so slightly how adorable Pearl was like this. “Well, I guess it could be worse. At least she's cute.”

Pearl turned to face Maya as she spoke, and it was at that point she came up with an idea. Maya shouldn’t have to be left out of the fun, right? Grabbing a nearby plush, Pearl held it out towards Maya, waiting for her to take it and join in the playtime.

Maya was surprised to see Pearl do this, but nonetheless took it and smiled as she began to move it around slightly in front of her cousin. This was what entertained babies, right? She wasn't exactly a master of childcare, but hopefully it would amuse her.

The second Maya began to make the plush dance around in front of Pearl, the baby-brained girl began to giggle happily, clapping her hands together as she watched the plush intently.

Finding Pearl absolutely adorable when she was this happy, Maya didn't hesitate to continue moving the plush around in front of her. She even grabbed another one, making both move around and interact for Pearl’s amusement. She went as far as to even begin speaking through both of them to make it look like they were holding a conversation, though she was unsure if her cousin could even really understand anything she said.

Even if Pearl didn't understand a word of what Maya was saying through the plushes, it was clear that the conversation was doing its job of keeping her entertained, as she just giggled even more, continuing to clap for the show in front of her.

Before long Maya finished, and when she did, she placed the plush toys back down in front of Pearl to play with. As well, she then promptly grabbed a rattle, something she was also certain would keep Pearl’s attention.

As Maya expected, the rattle that she had picked up immediately grabbed Pearl’s attention, and as soon as Maya started shaking it, Pearl went right back to giggling happily, before reaching her hands out to signal that she wanted to play with the rattle herself.

Not wanting to deprive Pearl of her own fun, Maya immediately handed it off, deciding to watch her play for a little bit. “Go on, shake it around!” She said as she watched somewhat eagerly.

Pearl didn’t need to be told twice. The second she was handed the rattle, she began to shake it around without a care in the world, giggling and smiling at the sound that resulted. While Maya didn’t see anything special about the noise that resulted, it was clearly very entertaining to Pearl, who was having the time of her life right now.

Pearl having fun was all that mattered to Maya at the moment, enjoying the adorable sight in front of her, before getting an idea. “Alright, smile for the camera~” She said as she suddenly held up her phone.

While normally, Pearl would be absolutely humiliated at the idea of having her picture taken in her current state, these weren’t exactly normal circumstances. So, when she was told to smile, she immediately did so, as well as turning to face the camera.

Maya promptly took nearly fifty photos in twenty seconds, wanting to make sure she had plenty of memories for this. Afterwards, she put her phone away and gave a grin. “Now then, are you feeling hungry?” She asked, already prepared to go and get her something to eat.

Pearl, of course, didn’t even understand the question to begin with, but she nodded anyway, crawling over to Maya and following her into the kitchen area of their house. Of course, since she hadn’t been in here yet, this just meant another instance of Pearl beginning to look around at everything in the room, along with crawling around the kitchen to try and find something new to play with.

Luckily for Maya, she had picked up a few jars of baby food at the store, as well as a clear baby bottle. Setting the jar of baby food on the counter, along with a spoon, she began to fill the bottle up with milk and then moved Pearl towards a chair. “Come on, get up there.” She said as she helped her up. She would need to get her a highchair...wait, what was she talking about? This was going to end soon, right?

Pearl whined a little bit as she was suddenly picked up and placed in a chair, as it meant that her adventure around the kitchen had been cut short. However, once Maya opened up the jar of baby food, Pearl immediately smiled once more and opened her mouth, clearly understanding what she was expected to do here.

Grabbing up a spoonful of the mushy food, Maya moved it towards Pearl’s mouth and cooed at her. “Here comes the train~” She said, just to have a bit of fun with it before feeding her younger cousin the food.

Pearl happily ate up the first bite of baby food, enjoying it far more than a girl of her (physical) age should. As soon as she swallowed the first bite, she immediately opened up for more. She was much more eager than Maya had been expecting…

Not that Maya had any concerns about that, happy that Pearl was enjoying her meal so much. “Alright, here's some more~” She said, quickly feeding her spoonful after spoonful of the baby food.

Pearl happily ate up each and every bite of the baby food she was given, until eventually there was nothing left in the jar. Most of the food had stuck to Pearl’s face rather than going into her stomach, but the infantile girl seemed content anyway.

Grabbing a nearby rag, Maya began to clean up Pearl’s face, no matter how much the younger girl was squirming. “Try and stay still so I can get our face all cleaned up, okay?” She instructed, not that Pearl could possibly understand.

Of course, the second Maya began to clean up her face, Pearl began to squirm around awkwardly, trying her best to avoid the rag as she whined loudly. She could hardly be blamed for this, though. After all, she was just a baby now…

Maya struggled a little to get Pearl completely clean, but once she did, she set the rag to the side and grabbed the baby bottle. “Now open up wide for your bottle~” She said as she moved the nipple of it towards her lips.

Pearl immediately wrapped her lips around the nipple of the bottle, beginning to suck all the milk out of it happily. Even though she was clearly excited, she found herself beginning to calm down a bit until her drinking was slow and steady. She even began to close her eyes and relax as she drank out of the bottle.

Maya smiled while watching Pearl relax as she drank it, continuing to hold the bottle up for her and allowing her to take her time. “There you go, nice and slow~” She cooed.

Pearl continued to drink from the bottle, her suckling getting slower, and slower… Until eventually, she fell asleep, and stopped sucking on the bottle entirely. Today had been a very exciting day, and it had clearly taken a lot of energy out of the poor girl.

It took Maya a few moments to realize that Pearl had actually fallen asleep, but when she did, she began to scoop her up into her arms and carry her away. “Alright, let's get you in~” She said, carrying her towards her room and placing her under the sheets.

A soft smile formed on Pearl’s face as she was tucked into bed, and she began to gently suck on her thumb as she slept, hugging a nearby pillow in place of a plush as she napped. Even though this was still a problem Maya needed to solve, there was no denying Pearl was adorable like this.

Once Pearl was nice and comfy in bed, looking perfectly peaceful in her slumber, Maya gave one last smile before beginning to leave the room. “Goodnight, Pearl.” She said as she started to leave, even if the girl was already asleep and unable to hear.

This certainly had been an...interesting series of events, and while Maya was already making plans to go and fix her cousin’s problems she couldn't help but adore how cute she was like this! It was just like she was a baby again...like a baby sister. Well...there was no rush to fix things, right? At the very least, she could leave her like this for another day or so…

That wouldn't be so bad, right?
