ARA Pinup - Mecha sketch
Added 2016-08-17 23:53:51 +0000 UTCAttached a few files. Back when she won the vote earlier, I said that I wanted to do something a little bit different. Cheesecake and maid outfits are great, but ARA is also a very serious character at times, and I don't get too many chances to spend the time and effort I'd like to go totally mecha-crazy. With the constant questions after that face-off picture, the request stream image in April with her Xray/exposed self, I took some inspiration from older pictures I'd done of her like the "digital attack" one, and my more recent interest in futurism and tech, thanks to stuff like the new comic and designs in general.
So, broken but unphased, ARA floating here amongst a radial design and energetic setting I thought would make a really, really cool pinup idea. Something unique, different, and could have a dozen purposes; wallpapers, prints, future graphics use, etc. Multiple versions of this image will actually be easier than it might seem; there will be a fur-complete version, with and without exposed bits, and the mecha aspect underneath. From there would be easy to make an in-between of a damaged ARA, with parts here and there exposed or missing.
Don't worry bout her though; she'll be fine. I meant it when I said there are many copies of her, and her consciousness exists on an FTL grid. She could be destroyed a hundred times over and be still alive, as a whole anyway. Hope people like this sci-fi/cute girl combo stuff.

Yeah that sounds like a neat idea if I can do that. I haven't thought of it for the Ask, but a few -have- asked, so I may post it there too.

Maybe you will include some little flavor text bits telling us of the major components? Some reason a full diagnostic of Ara just sounds perfect for her efficient personality. Also, have you thought bout tying this into the ask for the month?
